Creative England - Connect, Invest, Develop, Inspire.

The what, the why, the how, and the who for - demystifying and clarifying.

Connecting, investing, developing, inspiring.

With their goal to cultivate a world where creativity is championed, valued, and fundamentally nurtured, not-for-profit organisation Creative England (now Creative UK) play a hugely important role in supporting, uniting and developing the UK’s creative industries.

My challenge was to clarify just how they do that, and working with senior team members, I began the process of demystification and clarification by first identifying the things that Creative England is not.

The four key functions of the organisation – connecting, investing, developing, inspiring - could then be defined and presented with complete clarity. This meant everyone – team, partners, authorities, creatives, supporters - could now see, communicate and engage with the ‘what, why, how and who for’ of this excellent and multi-faceted organisation.

In 2021 Creative England merged with Creative Industries Federation to form Creative UK.
